So far they have visited Ardley Island and Collins Glacier and one very exciting bit of news is that they found the ibuttons we couldn't retrieve at the end of last season. So we have more temperature traces for the moss beds! They also have to cokk dinner for the whole base one Sunday so the Chefs can have a break. Looking forward to hearing all about it and seeing the photos.
Dr Mel has been in Antarctica for over a week now and we are hoping there will be updates and exciting news but unfortunately the internet is slow (probably doesn't like the cold) and so she is sending messages via whats app. Luckily there is mobile phone coverage on King George Island! Looks like Tavo is on the phone in the lab here.
